I visited Abel Family Dental as a new patient for a cleaning and exam. The office was clean and the hygienist was friendly. However, my experience with the dentist, Dr. Mark Still, was concerning. After a very brief exam, I was told I had 12 cavities. This was surprising because I’ve had regular dental checkups every six months for my entire life, and I haven’t had a cavity in about 7 years. I’ve never been more comfortable in a dentist office. Dr Anderson is amazing and makes me so much less nervous. His team is always so friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
I absolutely love coming here! I have a fear of needles and of dentists (Doing work On my teeth) I was referred here because I often have seizures when I get a needle and they have a nurse on site to help out if needed. The doctors/dentist/hygienist have been so Unbelievably helpful and understanding! I do not recommend this place. I went in because I had very bad pain in my tooth. They looked it over and had told me I need a root canal. I explained that I have no dental coverage, he told me it was 1,400.00$ and they told me to take a few days to think about it. But then started pushing me to just get it done right then and there. I explained i didnt have that much money at the time. He wrote me a prescription for the pain and sent me on my way with no care in the world. (As I was still in pain).
