The hygienist Katherine, is so amazing with kids. Her energy put my son at ease. Looking forward to our next visit!
I miss Monique's sensitivity to my sensitive teeth, and warm relating of self to others. I wish her the best in the future.!. I realize John is new and will need time to adjust to individual patients needs. I found him a little rough with the scaling, but gradually got better. He didn't floss after the polishing, and it wasn't as complete as I am accustomed to...seemed a little rushed towards the end. Dr. Shobbi was professional and personable as usual.
Great at booking appointments until your benefits are all used up! I specifically ask about all the procedures prior to booking if my insurance will cover 100% and they said yes. To my surprise, after a hygiene appointment I was asked to pay $150 apparently my benefits are used up. That's okay and I pay the balance. Before leaving, I have asked again to remind me or check before the appointment if all will be covered so wont be paying any out of pocket if insurance covers it. My husband and I followed our dentist to Academy Dental Group (Dr Mutchmor) and we are so pleased with his new office. The office staff and hygienist were so welcoming to everyone. Also our dentist is always exceptional.
I came to Academy Dental looking for some cosmetic filling repairs. To date,, the staff are always pleasant and cheerful and Dr. Salonga has completed my repairs beautifully. I can only speak highly of the service(s) that I have received at Academy Dental. Well done team - keep it up!
