For the amount of forms and appointment confirmation texts and emails you receive, you would think that they would be able to communicate changes or when the doctor that you specifically booked with is away from the clinic for an appointment booked 6+ months earlier. We were advised at the time of billing that they no longer bill secondary insurance, which they have always done, so we were left with an unexpected bill at the end of the appointment. I was a longtime patient of Alderney. In Nov. 2023 I received and paid $5,529 for work related to an upper dental implant provided by Dr. Robert Melanson. The denture was unusable from day one and after numerous visits the denture split in half and a pin broke in my jaw (requiring surgery which I paid for). Basically I went from Nov 2023 to June 2025 (new denture which drove up my expenses) without teeth. Easy to deal with them and they are taking care of all insurance paperworks when my crown broke. I had Dr Melanson but he’s retired now. The new one who’s replacing him is really good. Always almost falling asleep during cleaning session: they are awesome!
Excellent group of human beings. I just saw them for the very first time after being unable to afford dental work for years. I tried to rebook my appt because it was off pay week and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to afford my portion of the bill. The response was: "that's why you want to cancel? No that is okay. We trust our patients." As a person mid bankruptcy with no credit and used to having issues... it honestly made me cry. Then to be treated so well in person... I'll never go anywhere else.
Dr Sharma is the best. She is incredibly professional with a calm and kind demeanour. My husband and children see her as well and we are all very happy she is our dentist.
