I have lived in Canada for a long time, but I needed a Korean-speaking doctor. Today, I finally met him. The Korean dentist I met was incredibly kind and professional. He extracted my tooth painlessly and showed it to me, explaining everything thoroughly. He was very gentle and explained each step, including when he administered the anesthesia. I love Dr. Carr..... always a pleasure visiting Atlantic Dental. My hygienist and the dentist are super knowledgeable, anticipate challenges and seek to resolve them ahead of time. They do their utmost best to ensure your experience is always positive.
I called in the morning the dental office to see if a filling that detached from my front tooth during the long weekend could be fixed this week. I got an appointment in the afternoon. The tooth was fixed very quickly and it fits well on bite. Both the dentist and the associate were friendly but professional and confident. Also, the payment via my insurance went smoothly. A great example of a well functioning healthcare!
I have been going to Atlantic Dental for well over 25 years now. My (almost) 2 year son just had his first visit to the dentist and was seen by Dr. Carr. She was so patient and gentle with him and knew all the tricks to make the appointment as easy as possible. Dr. Carr is now caring for a 3rd generation of our family and I cannot say enough great things about her, the Hygienist Co-ordinator Chelsea, and the rest of the staff at Atlantic Dental! I had recently switched dentists due to some issues with my previous dentist, administrative staff. I was in for a cleaning yesterday and so far so good the staff are friendly the young woman that did my x-rays was very peppy and didn’t waste time at all she got them done in record timing. Dominika, who ended up doing my cleaning was very good as well I had quite a bit of buildup so it was a little bit painful, but she was very good in mitigating that.
