I took my son Randolf to the dentist yesterday, Bayside Dental. He's an adult with Autism, so I always go with him to ask the questions he won't. He is verbal, but he's very nervous of new places and people normally, so will rarely speak to anyone. The staff from the front desk, to the Dental Assistant, the Dentist himself, made him feel so at ease. They were all so kind, and I must say pretty patient with all of my questions! Amazing practice. Amazing staff. I was in town for a very short time and had extensive work to be done. The ladies in the front did everything in their power to make sure it was completed before I returned to Halifax. I have had an extreme fear of the dentist for most of my life and it had been over 6 years since I’d been to one last. My 2pm appointment happened right on time! Starting with a casual chat with my friendly hygienist, she did a thorough checkup and cleaning of my teeth. Following my cleaning, the dentist did his checkup and confirmed the condition of my teeth and gums with the hygienist. I would highly recommend Bayside Dental!

Love getting my teeth cleaned by Shirley and Dr. Tobin is great! Appointments are always quick (but thorough) and as painless as the dentist can be. He makes you feel comfortable and is honest, transparent, and discusses treatment options to come up with a plan with you which I really respect.
