I've been going to Champlain Dental for about a year, and after trying a few different dentists, I found the one. Connie at reception is a pure gem. She is professional but shows great empathy and care for patients. My messages always get relayed to the dentist (which many medical secretaries fail to do!). Thanks, Connie! I used to avoid going to the dentist. After 12 years my husband convinced me to go to Champlain and they are wonderful! Very considerate and will work with you too male you feel as comfortable as possible
Dental appointments are rarely “wonderful” what with the awkwardness of someone having a bunch of tools in your mouth… however, my visit for a cleaning today was lovely! Natalie, the hygienist, is very gentle in her cleaning approach and so personable… the appointment flew by. The receptionist pre-booked me for my next two appointments and we joked over my appreciation of their multiple appointment-reminder texts. Such a lovely staff!
Until CDCP was available, I'd never in my adulthood (20+ years, employed but no dental benefits) been able to afford dental care. I was filled with anxiety about the work I knew I'd need done, and the out-of-pocket costs. Everyone was friendly and understanding and took the time to make sure I understood what needs to be addressed and to collaborate on 'the gameplan'.
