I will first admit to being very nervous about going to the dentist. I have lots of dental and health issues and teeth cleaning can be painful for me. The lovely hygienist who met with me first, took x-rays and cleaned my teeth was wonderful, patient and kind. The dentist looked carefully at my dental issues and gave me hope that I can get back the smile that I have been missing without pulling out a bunch of teeth. I recently had a cleaning and check-up at Charles Street Dental and I was extremely impressed! The dentist hygienist was very friendly and he explained everything he was doing and frequently checked in with me to make sure I wasn’t experiencing any discomfort. There were a few minor concerns and, instead of making me feel as though my brushing/flossing routines were inadequate (as I have experienced at a previous dental clinic), he kindly offered practical suggestions for how to address these concerns. I had a new hygienist today and just like all the other hygienists and dentists here, they are all terrific. They are very gentle and caring. The ladies on the front desk are also very friendly.
With the change in staff I was a little nervous of having a new dentist. I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I was treated with so much kindness and also so gentle that I didn’t even feel the needle for the freezing. Update July 31.. had a cleaning and also liked the staff
I moved to Ingersoll from the Kitchener-Waterloo area and wanted a new dentist here. I have had the same dentist in Waterloo for over 30 years. My first visit to Charles Street Dental was nothing short of exceptional. From the front staff to my hygienist to the dentist, they were all very professional, extremely friendly and they all made me feel so comfortable and honestly just like a little family.
