We didn't find out our appointments were accidentally cancelled until we arrived. There was some computer glitch. It was of course unfortunate but the office manager was extremely apologetic. My two children (6&8yrs) didn't mind the inconvenience as they were pleasantly distracted in the kids play room. The office manager felt really bad while she rescheduled us and walked me over to help prepare coffee for myself and hot chocolate for my kids. I thank this office for its human approach to care.
My entire visit was the best experience I've ever had, with a dental office all over the US or in Germany.. I felt so welcomed by the staff at the front desk. Megan was absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, and had such a nice touch of making me feel comfortable. Dr Ellickson was extremely professional, thorough, and took a lot of time to explain everything about the current condition of my teeth. It was my first time at First Choice Dental. My hygienist Molly was fantastic! She was so informative, she explained everything she was doing and why. The front office staff was awesome. They seem to really enjoy their job and their coworkers. The office was bright and spacious. Dr. Merchant was very knowledgeable and had a wonderful bedside manner. I felt very comfortable and cared for as a person and not just a number. I am looking forward to my next visit😊
Decent in-office experience, but apparently they send bills 9 (NINE!) months after a service? They also don't provide an itemization, just a "Surprise! You owe us another hundred bucks!" email and text.
I was late due to my own mess up! They were so kind and still saw me! I am so very appreciative of their support. The staff is truly wonderful! Molly is me hygienist and she is the very best!!! Thank you First Choice Dental Cottage Grove!!
