It was my first time at First Choice Dental. My hygienist Molly was fantastic! She was so informative, she explained everything she was doing and why. The front office staff was awesome. They seem to really enjoy their job and their coworkers. The office was bright and spacious. Dr. Merchant was very knowledgeable and had a wonderful bedside manner. I felt very comfortable and cared for as a person and not just a number. I am looking forward to my next visit😊

We didn't find out our appointments were accidentally cancelled until we arrived. There was some computer glitch. It was of course unfortunate but the office manager was extremely apologetic. My two children (6&8yrs) didn't mind the inconvenience as they were pleasantly distracted in the kids play room. The office manager felt really bad while she rescheduled us and walked me over to help prepare coffee for myself and hot chocolate for my kids. I thank this office for its human approach to care.

I’m terrified of Dentists from horrific experiences. A colleague suggested First Choice to me as she goes there. From the beginning I felt welcomed and heard. I expressed my fear as I was having anxiety. The team listened to me and didn’t treat me like I was crazy. From the receptionist, to the dental assistant Haden, to Dr Merchant. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel people should know about my experience. My first—and last—visit to First Choice Dental was because they’re new to the neighborhood and conveniently located. I went in for a routine cleaning and instead spent almost two hours there. After taking an excessive number of X-rays, I was told I had gum disease, cavities, and needed extensive treatment. First Choice Dental-Cottage Grove is THE place to go for all of your dental needs. All of the staff, from the front desk to the doctors to the hygienists to the assistants…Incredible people who care! Don’t waste your time going elsewhere. Highly recommend.
