We didn't find out our appointments were accidentally cancelled until we arrived. There was some computer glitch. It was of course unfortunate but the office manager was extremely apologetic. My two children (6&8yrs) didn't mind the inconvenience as they were pleasantly distracted in the kids play room. The office manager felt really bad while she rescheduled us and walked me over to help prepare coffee for myself and hot chocolate for my kids. I thank this office for its human approach to care.
I’m terrified of Dentists from horrific experiences. A colleague suggested First Choice to me as she goes there. From the beginning I felt welcomed and heard. I expressed my fear as I was having anxiety. The team listened to me and didn’t treat me like I was crazy. From the receptionist, to the dental assistant Haden, to Dr Merchant. My dentist and hygienist were incredibly great at putting me at ease even though I was getting a crown on my back tooth. They were both well skilled at what they did and quickly got me back to my day. Thank you for calming my nerves and doing great dental work!!!
Dr. Ellickson at First Choice in Cottage Grove does a fantastic job. He is always very friendly and makes me feel good about my oral hygiene! I would recommend him as one of the best Dentists I have had. Molly, a hygienist at First Choice, is always a joy as well. She does a thorough job and is very friendly. These two make going to the dentist an enjoyable and comfortable experience!
Wow, what a great dental experience! Patty at the front desk could not have been more helpful with putting together a plan for me. And Dr. Ellickson was very informative, compassionate and kind. My new favorite dentist.
