I highly recommend Dr. Lao and the team! I’ve been going there for more than 20 years and they are consistently gentle, professional, and thorough. I recently had a dental crown done, and the staff ensured I was comfortable the entire time. They take the time to explain everything clearly and never make you feel rushed. The office is clean, modern, and welcoming. Five-star service!

I came in for a cleaning as a new patient, but was not clearly informed about the procedures being done or why they were necessary. I was also charged for an X-ray that I did not request and hadn’t been clearly explained to me. I wasn’t told it wasn’t direct billing, either, which left me confused and frustrated, honestly. I think patients, especially younger ones, should be clearly told what’s being done and what they’ll be charged.

I have had the most thorough cleaning I have ever had!!! My kids are very happy with their teeth cleaning too!! The receptionist is lovely too!! I’m so happy I changed from my old dentist to Kanata lakes dental centre. Thanks to the whole team!

Had an appointment yesterday with Michelle, the dental hygienist. She was amazing…very detailed in both her procedures and also in the explanation of what she was doing. She was also very clear in advising me in terms of proper care of teeth and gums. I’m not young but I think that yesterday was the most comprehensive hygiene appointment I have experienced. Very professional!!!!!
