It was my first visit to Kanata Lakes dental Centre and I was really impressed. As a person with multiple disabilities I was treated with dignity and respect from the person at reception, who assisted me with the medical information form, to the dentist and his assistant, through to the person who took my payment, they were all very friendly, knowledgeable and made it a great first visit. As with every dental practice the fees seemed excessive but what are you going to do, you need their help.
I'm a long time client and have always felt well looked after and welcome at this clinic. The people who work at Reception are very helpful and the expertise of my regular hygienist Michelle and my Dentist Dr Lau, fills me with confidence and I enjoy our chats.
We have been long-term clients of Kanata Lakes Dental Centre since the kids were little. We have been very loyal clients; however, the loyalty and respect that we have the dental centre is not shared by Kanata Lakes Dental Centre. My kids are now adults and they, on my advice, continue to go to the dental centre. However, as a mother of adult kids I was embarrased and ashamed with how they were treated. I have had very little dental work done, so yesterday was a marathon with 3 fillings at once. I was really pleased with the experience. Dr. Lau and Jeannie worked well together, and I joined in their camaraderie when I could. I was amazed at how complex this kind of work is - so many stages, so much different equipment with intricate timing for each stage - and all of it was masterfully done. Not being a huge fan of dental visits...but, having said that, Dr Lau is definitely in the right profession! He not only took the time to listen to some concerns, he was so compassionate (and funny too!) and professional during my recent filling visit. Thank you. Your office is filled with great people.
