My visit on the afternoon of Monday June 29 2026, for a regular cleaning was as pleasant as any visit can possibly be. We always have a great experience with Dr. Carter and the entire team. From the moment we walk in, the staff were welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. The office is clean, well-organized, and runs on time, which I really appreciate. Dr. Carter was thorough, gentle, and took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure my kids and myself was comfortable throughout my visit. Dr Carter is so gentile and welcoming, He has helped me completely dissolve my anxiety about visiting the dentist. Brittany his assistant is also lovely and makes an effort to get to know you on a personal level. They treat you like an old friend and make something not usually pleasant or enjoyable a bearable and great experience. I appreciate their attention to detail and humility.
The staff are always so pleasant and friendly to deal with. All the dental hygienist's take great care in their work and make what can be a not highly anticipated trip to the dentist, much more tolerable. Dr. Joseph Carter is always kind and knowledgable, and never pushes procedures unless he strongly believes them to be necessary. I’ve never particularly enjoyed a trip to the dentist, but the folks at Lakeside Dental make it significantly better!
