Dr. Smit V. is very good at his job, hands down the best dentist I’ve had! Hands light as a feather. Did not feel anything after I had fillings, root canal and a fractured tooth that was taken out!
I am absolutely livid at this dental office. I discussed with them MULTIPLE times about how I did not want to do any procedure that did not fall within my insurnace coverage. This was discussed with the dentist on multiple visits and we discussed at length prioritizing work that would fall within my coverage. They even sold me on doing a bit of cosmetic work, which I NEVER would have done if it was to exceed my benefits. After my appointment the receptionist failed to give me an invoice and receipt. When I called to be emailed a receipt they failed do in a timely manner. Due to getting my email wrong(even though I spelled it out for them on the phone and it was written as well) and didn’t even apologize for their mistake. Additionally, the receptionist booked me with the wrong dentist, Dr.Brian Son instead of the dentist we specifically asked for when booking the appointment. All the staff are super friendly and easy to talk to. The hygenist was very kind and thorough and Dr. Smit is excellent. And I really appreciate that they didn't push any unecessary treatments on me. It's the reason I didn't go to a dentist for years.
Let's face it, no one likes going to the dentist for a cleaning, especially first thing on a Saturday when you could be sleeping in. Today I was pleasantly surprised with a positive experience. My hygienist, Manroop, had a gentle touch with the scary scaler , perfect timing with the suction breaks, and super informative & polite. If all my bi-annual cleanings were this professional, I'd insist on quarterly check-ups. Hire more hygienists like her - she's a keeper!!
