Two weeks ago, I had my first visit to Monroe Smiles for a teeth cleaning and evaluation. My first impression was a lovely smile from Stephanie at the front desk who actually booked my visit. She was so helpful and thoughtful to guide me through their check in for new patients. I had my first visit to Monroe Smiles this past week, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff welcomed me warmly, and everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring, which made me feel very comfortable throughout my visit. I had a really great experience with Dr. Carlson. She’s very thorough and takes the time to explain everything in a way that actually makes sense, which I appreciated. I never felt rushed during my appointment, and she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The office is clean, well-run, and the staff is friendly too. Overall, she just seems like someone who genuinely cares about her patients and the quality of her work. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a solid, reliable dentist.

After 10 years seeing Dr Johnson at Monroe Smiles he has declined to treat me anymore. I went in for a cleaning this morning and the hygienist told me it was their policy to take the blood pressure of all patients. I really, really don’t want my dentist taking my BP without a good reason (like if I was undergoing anesthesia). I have elevated BP under the new guidelines and am under my physician’s supervision for that. I was willing to and did show them the most recent BP I had shared with my PCP.
