I just went here to try a new place as I moved back from out of province. I have anxiety with needles and dentists in general so I like to make sure I'm comfortable with where I go. That eliminates most of the stress for me. I had a cleaning and general check up and wow. Megan was my dental hygienist and she was phenomenal. Patient, kind, and very good at what she does! I can’t say enough good things about Nanaimo Smiles! I’ve always struggled with dental anxiety, but from the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and cared for. After moving to Nanaimo, I’m so grateful I found this dentist! I get really anxious about dental visits, but everyone here is so kind , and understanding. The dental hygienist was amazing super friendly and made the whole experience feel calm and easy. I finally feel comfortable going to the dentist again!
Yes! A friendly staff, so professional, really appreciate these folks! The dentist took his time with me and was very attentive. The hygienist was gentle and gave me all the numbing agents I needed :-) And they take the Canadian Dental Plan. They are top notch and I highly recommend them!
Ladies at the front desk were so welcoming, big smiles, super sweet! Waiting area was Bright beautiful clean and comfortable, and Sara my dental hygienist was so so gentle and kind, took the time to explain all the details with me in a way that I could understand and even showed me my x-rays up close and explained all the details of what was there and what she’d be taking care of and Dr. Kim was the best, he was happy and funny and took all the fear out of it, felt like I was taking to a friend… I would recommend this place... read more
