An awesome dental office. A bright new building with first-rate equipment. The staff that dealt with me were excellent, from the front counter staff to the dentist. It was my first visit, and Sara (a hygienist) was fantastic. She’s intelligent, skilled, and personable. I’m happy they took me on as a new patient.
Ive never felt so comfortable going to the dentist! Dr. Stymiest’s practice and staff are exceptional all around.. knowledgeable, non judgmental and SO kind. Even though I moved from nanaimo to Chemainus, I will always make the commute to have such a great dental experience :))
The staff were lovely, and extremely helpful. The treatment was more or less painless lol. But my first overall experience with Smiles was a great one! A big "Thanks!" to Sara and the staff, who went out of their way to help me 😊🙏⭐️💜
I’m sure we all have the same fears of the dentist, but I’ll say the moment you walk in the doors of that building. All of those fears get washed away. They were kind and understanding at the reception, as I was a new client. They answered any questions I had regarding the procedures or flexibility of appointments, and just down right fun and good people to talk with. For someone who has previously had a fear of the dentist, Dr. Kim and the team at Nanaimo Smiles are absolutely phenomenal. They treat me wonderfully and are genuinely sympathetic to my personal nuances and anxieties. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly accommodating, upbeat, and happy—it’s a refreshing experience every time I come in.
