Absolutely love this dental office. Super friendly and professional, from the front desk onwards. I Absolutely hate going to the dentist so was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Dr Shetty listened to me and gave me a painless experience together with his assistant, Dee. They're now my new dental office after having tried a few in Nanaimo.
Everything was explained, I was given clear instruction on how to notify the dentist if I was in discomfort, the dentist was really personable, polite, friendly, efficient and so patient. I really felt taken care of and I could see what the dentist saw, my x-rays were in front of me and he used these as well as pictures to show and explain what needed doing and what could wait. My kids (6+8) had their first appointments, and I was thoroughly impressed! The office itself is new, clean, bright, and welcoming. All of the staff were unreal- very professional, friendly, informative and great with my kids. We are so happy we chose Smiles, as there were so many offices to choose from when we moved into town.
I have had 2 appointments at Nanaimo Smiles, both within a week of each other. My second appointment was for a wisdom tooth extraction. I was so nervous but both the dental assistant and Dr. Kim were amazing. They made me feel relaxed the whole time. And they were fast without cutting corners. They made me feel so well taken care of.
Initial walking in the door was bright, clean and cheerful. The reception greeted me with warm smile and made me comfortable the moment I walked in. Then it came time for the staff, and they were all friendly and relaxed and gentle not only with me, but with each other. It was a great experience and I’d recommend it to anyone. I got my concerns addressed and done with ease and economically.
