I render this low review due to the unethical billing practices I encountered during my initial evaluation. During the initial evaluation, the dental assistant claimed that my insurance would not cover 3D imaging needed to evaluate my condition. I have had this procedure done as part initial evaluation several times before choosing an implant practice and have never been charged for this procedure. I do not recommend this practice
Dr. Zendig is amazing! My husband had his wisdom teeth taken out at a different office and was in crippling pain for over a week. After getting in and talking with Dr. Zendig about the issues, he determined some imaging was necessary. Dr. Zendig was able to identify some root tips that were left behind from the surgery that was the cause of the pain. He referred us to Dr. Chai who got us in and taken care of within the hour. Oakwood dental is the place to be. Everyone is delightful and makes us feel comfortable. We appreciate good service and pleasant office environment. The staff is great. Dr. Jones does great work. This week I enjoyed Maria at front desk, Heather was assisting Dr. Jones with my filling composites and last week my cleaning was with hygienist Liz. Staffing, hygienists and Dr. Jones are truly the best. They use their immense experience and talents to be sure the patients needs are well taken care of immediately. It is their compassion and genuine honesty that they offer realizing that no two mouths are the same. Staff is happy, friendly, and professional. Kathy is the best hygienist ever! She is friendly, professional, gentle and thorough. She is like family. I look forward to seeing her every 6 months. Dr. Z is personable and takes the time to be sure any concerns have been addressed. Everyone in this practice loves their job.
