I am very happy I did my research and found Orillia Smile Center. Dr. Shannon is a caring, talented dentist. She makes me feel comfortable and answers all my questions. The dental assistants are kind and keep everything running smoothly during an appointment. My family sees the hygienist, Jody. She is wonderful with my 3 children and makes them feel at ease. I have been a client for a bit now and have always been impressed with their services. Moving to a new town, finding a dentist and just going to initial appointments can be frustrating but the team at the smile center always took great care of me. They understand that individuals do not always have funds upfront and try to work with their patients on what they can / cannot afford at the time. I love my experience from being to the end of appointment. They make you feel like family. Everyone that work there are friendly and knowledgeable. Staff are on top of things needed by you. Dentist is excellent, bright and cheerful. I could go on but I think you need to experience the service yourself.
Dr. Shannon was amazing! Had a permanent retainer wire come loose and she helped me quickly readhesive it and I was good to go without any other questions. They also gave me the best rate (by far) out of the 5 Orillia clinics I called and I can say they also have the best receiptionist. Would highly recommend seeing Dr. Shannon for any teeth issues for friendly and professional service from everyone involved!
I’m very disappointed with my experience with this dental office. I had not received any communication from them since February 2024 regarding a small balance $180 that I owed. Then, out of nowhere in December 2025—almost two years later—I received a letter stating that they were sending my account to collections and that this was their “final notice.” When I called to speak with the manager, they confirmed that they had no record showing any successful communication with me since that date.
