I had two implants done by Dr. Yim — one in 2022 and another in 2023. The first implant crown chipped after about a year and a half, and the second implant failed and needed to be redone. Dr. Yim promised to fix both issues after returning from a long vacation, but he never came back. When I contacted the clinic several times, they couldn’t confirm when he would return.(He resigned without any notice). My regular dental hygienist did a wonderful job as usual and tolerated my terrible humour, also as usual... The new owner of the business Doctor 'B' Came in afterwards to do the double check and was extremely personable and friendly. I always recommend this dental practice to my friends whenever I can. I have been a client for 25+ years and the work has always been professionally done.
Let me start by saying that I’m a person sensitive to dental work, therefore I do not frequent the dentist unless I really need to. (the dental practice seems primitive, rough and invasive to me). Dr. Yim used to make my visits easy and reduce my anxieties thru his years of experience and professionalism when providing the service. I noticed subtleties like his ability to numb me without me even noticing or seeing a needle. For me, that makes a world of a difference for my stress levels when laying in the chair.
