I had a tooth break and Pier 1 dental got me in on an emergency basis with no delay to my current trip on a sailboat. Dr. Andy Wong used their CEREC technology to design, build, and install a crown in a single visit. My wife also had a dental filling replaced while I was there. Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. If I live anywhere near Campbell River, Pier 1 dental would become my go to dental provider. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt I had to this time. I broke my denture just before heading out on vacation and needed an urgent fix. The Pier Street Dental team was incredibly accommodating. Dr. Hannah King was wonderful—she suggested a temporary crown so I could fully enjoy my trip and get a feel for it, the permanent crown to be placed once I returned. I just had a crown done on one of my teeth. This mini disaster happened while I was chomping down on a hard crust from the Superstore (30% off section). However, Pier Street Dental to the rescue. Dr.Chin and his assistant are showing the results of professional experience in the best possible way. Calming and friendly, I had a 2 hour appointment for a series of front area fillings featuring breaks, replacements, and new work. Anaesthetics were kept to the minimum and utterly painless. Much of the work was done without any and was also painless. At one point I almost fell asleep!
I have travelled all over the world playing Pro Golf and have been to dentist’s all over the world. Dr Chin and his assistants and staff are exceptional. Each are talented in their own way. My experience was effortless, painless and encouraging. Dr Chin is the best dentist I have ever been to. His staff is special and I highly recommend them!
