Dr. Schumacher & Marissa were amazing!!! So understanding & caring and helped my anxiety! They were empathetic and I really appreciated that. Kind clinic, happy people. Really enjoyed the service/my time there being kind of scared of dentists usually. Very fast to get booked in too! Front staff were great too!
All the staff here was so lovely! Very non-judgemental and patient people, and the vibes were excellent. They do things at a pace you are comfortable, and make it very clear that they're just trying to help you have a good experience. The hygenist was also so awesome - she was really hustling between my room and the x-ray room when taking the x-rays, which was awesome because it was so clear she was trying to get me out of the physically uncomfortable positions as quick as she could :)
I recently switched dentists having gone to the same practice for over 30 years. Poplar seemed to appreciate my business and understand it is a competitive environment with their welcome gift, paying for parking and fee structure. Staff was friendly, professionals knowledgeable and gentle and not always trying to "up sale" me. I am going back.
I went in a few weeks ago for my first exam as a new patient, and everyone from the front desk to the doctors and the hygienist who cleaned my teeth and helped me were amazing and super gentle. Anytime they were doing anything, they would walk me through it and always check regularly to see if I was feeling any discomfort. Definitely going back and I am happy to say that I think I found my new dental office.
Dr. Perry is the only dentist in the city that offers pinhole gum therapy, a less invasive alternative to gum grafting. I've had the procedure twice, repairing all the receding gums on both my upper and lower jaw. I'll be eating steak when I'm 90 thanks to this. Dr Perry and the staff are knowledgeable, professional, highly competent and offer wonderful service. They are also provide my regular dental services, with which I'm most pleased. Highly recommend Dr. Perry, poplar dental and the pinhole gum therapy procedure.
