I recently left a 5-star review for the hygienist, and I still stand by that—she did an excellent job, and the airflow cleaning itself was great. Unfortunately, I’m changing my overall opinion of the clinic because of the front desk experience. I asked more than once for the price in advance and was told it would be $240, with repeated reassurance that “insurance will cover it.” I was not provided a clear written estimate upfront, and I later found the billing to be much higher than expected. Our family is grateful for the consistent high level of care we receive from Dr Mike and the team at Prairie Roots. The front desk staff try always to book our family members appointments together so we can maximize our time. I’ve never felt rushed or unheard. Is it expensive?- yes Does our insurance cover everything?- no. Is it worth it? 100%. Yes- Dr Mike, like his father before him, sees the big picture of overall health care and supports our desire to protect our smiles.

Dr. Madison and hygienist Kaela could not have been more lovely. A check up, cleaning, and a filling were all painless and easy. The reception team were also very pleasant and helpful as well! Thank you so much!

I have found Kaela to be an excellent hygienist. Prompt, personable, knowledgeable, skillful and with a true care for my dental health. I have also had great success with Dr. Meier. He took the time to diagnose the problem that I presented with and give me his recommended solutions. My problem was solved and he did not try to sell me on anything else. I am happy to have my dental care in their hands.

My (very elderly) mom goes to this business. She is always treated with kindness and respect and gets excellent treatment. Yesterday, one of the kind receptionists help her rearrange her travel to get home, then walked her out to the taxi as it was too hard to get to with ice on the sidewalk. She had an angel taking care of her. Thank you to whomever helped, I'm sorry I don't know your name.
