I have really appreciated the dental care I have received at Promontory Dental Centre. The dentist and dental hygienists take great care - always checking my comfort - whether I'm in pain or any discomfort. They are also mindful costs for a patient on a budget, which I really appreciate. I love the fact that I get an estimate of cost emailed to me or given directly before any work is done. While I have no issue with the dentist I take issue with the office staff, specifically Tara. We have since stopped going to this location and now need to find another office. The backstory: Before booking our appointments, we would ask the office staff if the procedure was covered by our insurance and would be told if it was or not. Absolutely terrible customer service from this dental office. First the hygienist refused to clean my teeth unless I got x-ray's done. In the past, I have been able to sign a waiver form stating that I refuse to get x-rays done, this time she told me that she couldn't clean my teeth unless I got them done. The pressure this dental office put's on you is insane. This should be a very streamlined process as we have insurance coverage. I recently had my wisdom teeth removed and had an excellent experience. I’ve also had other treatments with Dr. Kermani in the past, and each time everything has gone smoothly. Dr. Kermani and the team are professional, caring, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I truly appreciate the great care and would highly recommend them.
It was a very good appointment. Dr. Kermani is a very knowledgeable and experienced dentist. He found a small piece of a tooth root that had been left in my gum since I was 17, I’m 35 now, and none of the dentists I had seen before ever mentioned it. He clearly explained everything about the treatment and all the options I have, both for cosmetic reasons and for keeping my teeth healthy.
