I want to take a moment to share my experience. I came to this place after an appointment, to clean my teeth because first, they needed it and second, I had a filling on the tip of my tooth that got stained and I thought with the cleaning was going to be enough. Got there, and the usual, we got a grumpy lady, the same curly hair mentioned in other reviews, I was asked to seat and wait and I did, for 1 hour and 32 minutes in an empty location I waited. I’ve been coming here for over 4 years now and I can easily say coming here is worth it! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Victoria is the queen of teeth cleanings as she’s very detailed and talks you through everything. Just based off of the cleaning she was able to tell how I slept- a wizard!!! But all jokes aside I’m always impressed by the quality of care I receive here. Will be finding a new dentist. They did not inform us that the dentist we had been seeing for over 3 years was pushed out by the new owner, Dr Mabry, who purchased the practice in January 2026. New dentist has a bed side manner that leaves much to be desired. She wasn't happy with the dental hygienist technique of removing water from my mouth so she pinched MY LIPS together, like I was doing something wrong. My experience at River Rock Dental was overall mediocre, with some significant issues that made it frustrating and disappointing. The biggest concern is the scheduling and lack of convenience—especially for orthodontic appointments. Orthodontic services are only available on very limited days, typically Tuesdays or Fridays, and not even after 3 PM. My appointment was scheduled for 1:00 PM and I finished at 3:20 PM. Over 2 hours and 20 minutes for a routine checkup, X-rays, and cleaning. The actual time spent with the assistant and hygienist totaled about 25 minutes if not less. The rest of the time was waiting. I had to approach the front desk multiple times for updates and was repeatedly told “10–45 minutes,” which is not a reasonable or professional estimate.
