Once again, Dr Caldwell does not disappoint. He patched a couple teeth until I can get insurance to pay for the crown! He is the best and the most practical dentist I’ve ever had. Highly recommend him and his other dentists!
Asked basic pricing for a tooth ache. The front desk girl could not bc didnt know what was wrong through the phone. I understood that, so I asked what would be done of the worst case scenarios and cost of that, she just had an attitude and made me feel unsafe to even go. I was gonna proceed regardless, but her attitude made me not trust it. This place might be good or not who knows.
For over 10 years we have been happy patients at Signature Smiles. Dr Caldwell and his partners do a super job taking care of our teeth. They have never tried to sell us something we didn't need. In fact, the dentists are great at explaining the situation and conservative in suggesting only what really need. Signature Smiles' dental hygienists are thorough and helpful with suggestions. I visited Signature Smiles of Bastrop for my first time on Thursday December 11, 2025 and my second time a day later (more on that). I haven't been to the dentist since last year, a choice I made after not finding one I liked. My Wife uses this office and I finally acquiesced to going. We were very displeased to say the least, we checked in approximately at 3:40-3:45 for my 4:00 appt, didn't catch the receptionist's name, but it was the same individual who checked in every other person after us. We set there patiently until 4:30 before we questioned about our appt. I asked was there a problem, lack of personel, etc. the receptionist said she was sorry and would check on it.
