I feel really bad for the average person that will come in this clinic and be taken advantage of. I had a 9am routine cleaning (covered by insurance) they xrayed me, made me wait, brought me to front desk and the lady explained how i need all this serious work done and it will be $2889.10. Mind you they checked that i did not have any cavities or what. I told her i needed time to get a 2nd opinion and consult my previous clinic and that i was only willing to do what i initially came in for, my cleaning covered by insurance. ... read more

I visited this office for myself and my family because it was the only one that accepted my insurance. Unfortunately, their main focus seems to be charging extra and making more money, rather than addressing what’s truly necessary for patients. The front desk staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I asked multiple times for a detailed bill but never received one. Been coming here for 3+ years even back when it was Bay Dental. My most recent experience with Smiles West Lawndale has been delightful and enjoyable. From before arriving Jessica and Claudia were helpful in guiding me in changing my assigned dental office after my new insurance had automatically assigned me a different office. The front desk ladies very kind I feel very welcome . The Doctor made feel very calm and sure that everything is going to be fine. She was very professional and caring. And the X-ray technician a very nice person. careful and caring. During ma y years I being very nerves and worried with any kind of treatments or procedures. I hope everything is going to be fine at this time of my life. I am very thankful.

Terrible work by the staff. My doctor didn’t come to the appointment today; they rescheduled for another day and never called to inform me. I wasted my time sitting there for most of the morning. They didn’t even know I was there specifically for that doctor, and they tried to send me to another clinic to see a general doctor, because the system was down,even though the treatment I need can only be done by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
