My children and I had a wonderful experience at Smiles West Dental & Orthodontics. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. They made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout our visit. What stood out the most was the kindness and compassion of the dentist. I have only been here once as I just moved back to the area, but the service was great, the facility was clean, and the staff made me feel extremely welcome. Everyone was so friendly! I’m very happy to say this is my new dentist and look forward to my next appointment.
I've had positive experiences with everyone I've encountered at this office other than the assistant manager, Yvonne. However, I think her behavior was inappropriate enough to warrant a 1 star review to serve as a warning to other patients. TLDR: Assistant manager tried to pressure me into agreeing to unnecessary treatment with made up numbers and threats of more extreme and expensive treatments needed in the future if I don't agree to the treatment today. This place was a great experience, Dr. Gusman did a great job and made sure I had all my questions answered. Eddie was so kind and thoughtful with all the payment plans and made sure I was happy. Over all it was a great experience. Thank you!
My husband and I came for a cleaning, my dentist came, sat down for two second, said i had no cavities and then said “im going to wait until the front end gives you info about your insurance” I asked if I was still getting my regular cleaning, and he said “I don’t deal with the insurance so we will wait” The lady in the front came, and said “he recommends a deep cleaning, & something else (i forgot) “ then i said can I just do my regular cleaning (my insurance covers) and she said “no because the doctor recommended this” .
