We had such a positive experience here with Dr. Derek. Our toddler had to have her tooth extracted and the team made the experience quick and comfortable for everyone. We are very grateful for the high quality care!
My daughter and I had a fantastic experience at Smiletown Guelph. After having our initial consult Dr. Derek provided his professional consult on the work that needed to be completed for my daughter teeth. He answered all my questions and provided insight on why something wouldn’t work. The day of surgery it was calm and inviting atmosphere. Dr. Derek is honestly so sweet great with kids. He was so good with my son. He made him feel comfortable and Made us as his parents feel comfortable getting put under with sedation is really hard for parents, but also extremely hard for kids how he handled it and was super professional but also talk to my son as a person not just a kid. I really love that he was personal with him. I’m just so thankful that he was able to help my son as well. Teeth are so important. I’m just thankful I’m thankful.
Smile Town was amazing when dealing with a very stressful situation with our 4 year old toddler who had severe cavities on her molars. Another kids dentist in the area told us she would need all of them extracted and gave us an eye-watering quote in the multiple $thousands, even after our benefits. Smile Town did a more accurate assessment, worked with our benefits provider, and found other sources to bring the out-of-pocket cost down by more than 10x to under $200. Worst experience ! $250 CHARGED .Two weeks before my visit, I booked an appointment and took time off work. When I arrived, I was told the doctor was not coming and my appointment was canceled. No prior notice was given, and my lost workday was not considered at all. On my next visit, I was asked to give consent for procedures before even getting an X-ray.
