I have been going to Dr Joanne Stewart since she opened her practice back in the 80’s. Original Staff that have been there for a long time are always super friendly. There has been some changes with the front desk staff and i don't find them as friendly as previously. No small talk and they don't smile or make any eye contact. I have been going to Southport Dental Clinic since I was a toddler and recently my appointments have been with Dr. Charlie. At a recent appointment for a filling Charlie and the assistant working with her were extremely professional, efficient, and warm. Her concern for my comfort and time as her patient was appreciated. The staff at the desk acknowledged me when I arrived and had a warm greeting. The staff were efficient and friendly, when processing my payment at the end. Dental Hygienist,Christina, was very thorough. I felt my teeth were well cleaned when I left, which I appreciated. She is friendly and makes a person feel at ease. Dr. Charlee was also friendly and performed a small procedure on my front tooth. I was glad to have a mouth and neck check up, and discuss my excessively, dry mouth with her. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and professional. Dr. Joanne is gentle, thorough, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes you feel comfortable and informed. What a terrific team of human beings. I always feel well taken care of here. My whole health is considered from a cleaning to a filling, if needed. Thank you to Dr. Janice for your kind, considerate, gentle and professional care. I would also like to give a shout-out to her hygienists who are so smart, caring and talented at making cleanings a memorable and fun experience without the pain.
