Dr. Melvin was amazing, especially with kids. My daughter loved him — he has such a gentle approach that she didn’t feel any pain or fear at all during her tooth extraction. I highly recommend Dr. Melvin and the Southwood Dental Clinic. The staff were also very accommodating and made the whole experience smooth and comfortable.
I had two small fillings done and it was the first time I have really felt comfortable at the dentist. Dr. Mau (I hope I am spelling that correctly) was truly concerned about my level of comfort. He used topical anesthetic before the needles and Kay, his assistant, actually held my hand while freezing was injected into my gums. The entire process was painless! Not that I enjoyed visiting the dentist, (who does?) but as I mentioned, it was comfortable. Thank you for caring so much about “patient comfort!”
No one really likes going to the dentist but this dental office has the most wonderful staff. They always make you feel comfortable and they are very friendly. They go the extra mile with lots of reminders of appointments. My husband had a tooth pulled and they even texted him the next day to see how he was feeling. They are also quick to respond to texts and voicemail.
I had root canal procedure. The receptionist was so kind and hospitable. Dr Mao and his assistants (Nisreen and K ) were incredibly supportive,caring and professional. Their way in handling my stress and calming me was so helpful. Thank you very much. Highly recommend
I was extremely pleased with everyone being so helpful and doing whatever they could to help me function! The dentist and staff were very nice and my experience was good! There was only one thing negative for me as when I got home and could see better in my own mirror, I noticed the colour of the filling was not the same white as my crown, however, it doesn't matter as long as the problem was fixed. Its only noticeable by me, so I can live with that! Thank you everyone at Southwood _ ColonelTalbot
