Frustrated, because my preschooler has a gum infection/abscess because a tooth that should’ve been removed ( he had a cavity that was very close to damaging his nerve), was not, and instead was capped. Just feel like I’ve been taken advantage of for my money (they get more money from capping then just removing a tooth). They should’ve done what would be best for my kid. Only open on Mondays and Tuesdays. Their answering machine refers you to their Winnipeg office for emergencies when you get to Winnipeg you find out the that two offices do not share information so you have to re-enter all information. Then you have to be exposed to an extra dose of radiation because they don’t share information between offices so you need more X-rays. My 3 year old sons regular dentist office (not a pediatrician office), has more bedside manner with my child then Toddlers to Teens does. We won’t be going back. My son loves the dentist, but this one did not explain anything to him and was hurting him.. making him not feel great about it anymore. The hygienist was not all that great with him either, until after the appointment.
My daughter loves going there. The only thing that I wish would improve is the waiting period, only being open a couple days a week is not amazing for dental work.
What a wonderful experience for a toddler- the waiting room is welcoming for toddlers with toys and a movie playing. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. My child's first dental experience was a breeze with doctor Mel. He was great with my child and also very helpful with tips on how to get a toddlers teeth brushed, without getting biten!
