The hygienists are great! So friendly and great with kids. I love the bright environment and toys in the waiting room. The prize machine is very cool and exciting for the kids as well. However the past couple of times we've been here it seems like this silver diamine fluoride product is being pushed pretty hard by the dentist. She told me that my 3 year old should get this treatment, but when I asked if my child had a cavity she avoided the question and would not answer, just said that my child had weak enamel and we should ... read more
This has been a horrible experience from start to finish. We were first referred to Toddlers for Teens by Hanover Dental when our oldest son was 6 years old. From the beginning, the dentist was rude and impatient. Our son needed a retainer, and after a few years they removed it and told us his mouth was “perfect.” Because of our experience there, we chose Ridgecrest in Steinbach for our daughter, and the difference was huge — much better care, a better appliance, and much kinder staff. Great staff, excellent service, caring and compassionate team! We were not patients but needed emergency dental care for a toddler. They got us in quickly, helped us, provided answers and addressed concerns. Couldnt ask for more or better! We will be switching from our current dentist office to Dr. McManus at Toddlers to Teens.
Took my 2.5 year old who was absolutely terrified but they were so great with him! Very calm and reassuring and still able to get the exam done even with him clinging to me like a koala bear! Front desk staff were very friendly and the play area while we waited was a big hit. Highly reccomend!
The dentist is a very hard place to be for my autistic kiddo. Our first visit was over quickly, which is very much appreciated, but I felt supported and for the first time my son didn’t leave more disregulated when we first walked in. For the first time we didn’t feel judged, it seemed like it was just another day helping a parent wrangle a PO’d alligator.
