On our third visit our dentist said he had 2 cavities, maybe three. When I asked questions she was very abrupt and dismissive and walked away while I was still asking questions. The assistant answered the remaining ones but I left feeling uneasy and am going somewhere else for a second opinion. My son and I need a dentist who will be engaging and friendly not abrupt and dismissive. Hes only 2.5 years old. Some extra care would have been appreciated. This was at the Steinbach location. The facility is nice, the hygienists are great. Receptionist is a different story. Call to follow up on a referral from my dentist over 2 weeks waiting, daughter had abscess tooth. Her regular dentist says she doesn’t see any other cavities, just the one abscess. I get two pictures done and she now has 7 cavities, needs one cap and a tooth removal and implant. The place is perfect for keeping kids entertained. The staff are wonderful and have a great approach when interacting with children. My son enjoyed his first dental experience.
The staff at Toddlers to Teens is always so patient and helpful with our kids. They squeezed our son in promptly this week when he had an accident at school and were able to take images and verify his teeth were ok.
The dental hygienist that saw my daughter was incredibly kind and patient. She walked through every step with my 4 year old and made sure she knew she could stop at any time she needed a break. We are looking forward to our next cleaning!
