Dr. Skahen is professionally outstanding, personable, explains everything in detail, and I always leave having learned something new about my dental care. I also enjoy the cheerful office staff, the bright clean office with a surfer's theme (Dr. Watson and Dr. Skahen used to surf together), and the latest technology for excellent care of my teeth. I highly recommend this dental practice!
For someone like me whose whole body automatically reacts due to the memory it holds from all the past traumas of that dentist chair and just tightens up. Dr. Skahen and his amazing assistant Luke changed everything about how I felt in that chair. I felt warmth, safe, that every tooth mattered. Dr Skahen was very thorough, and good at sharing information. He did NOT try to convince me I needed any new work done. Susan, the dental hygienist, did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth, as I was way overdue!!! I highly recommend their dental practice.
Such a pleasurable experience working with Dr. Skahen, Luke and staff. If ever a dental engagement could be fun they make it happen. Personable, funny and always go the distance to make my teeth shine. Music in the office is the cherry on top. Thanks team for making my smile brighter from the inside out.
The hygenist is great but what happened to Watson and Niven? I have been going here several years and Watson passed away unfortunately before I could meet him and Niven has left on sabbatical with no mention of ever returning. Does not feel like the same place that was so highly recommended to me
