Like the last time, experience wasn't that great! Water splashes on my face, lady who did the cleaning reach tools over my face and her apron touches my face. Same as the last time. I had very bad experience previously as well. Dental assistant put all those uncomfortable thing inside my mouth and left me for a long time. I was drooling!!! I went out like that and saw the dentist who supposed to do my teeth chatting with another dentist. If only I have a choice and not to start all over again with all the laboratories and st... read more

After making an appointment they will send you a reminder, telling you that you will be charged a fee for a missing appointment. Almost entire Alberta working outside in all weather conditions and if weather is not permitting to work, we don't charge the weather a fee. Dear dentists I don't know who gave you the authority to charge any fees. Your greed has no boundaries.

Business response:

We are sorry you felt we were only worth one star, Alex. Our clinic follows the Alberta Dental Fee guidelines to ensure fair rates. This being said; we are committed to working with our clients to ensure they get the dental treatment they need and deserve.

I had 4 visits to the dentist, all 3 times went well, but the 4th was terrible. I got the injection as usual, after 3 hours the numbness was gone, but after 5 days my tongue is still numb!! I thought from day to day that it would pass, but alas .. I'll have to go to the clinic and find out what happened.. UPD: I can’t eat normally after fillings, the pain is unbearable, a month has passed, I went to clinic, and they answered that I just needed to file a little, but this didn't help. This is the worst experience going to the ... read more

We are sorry to hear about your bad experience with the freezing this time. Freezing can take a while to come out, and depending on the area, it can behave differently as oral sensitivity varies. Nonetheless, we hope you are feeling better now and that you will give us a chance to make it up to you next time.

I don’t know why put my filling still hurt after getting filled 1.5 years ago. It’s a constant pain chewing food. I booked an appointment hoping I would see the doctor and he was not there. I don’t think fillings should hurt years after a fill

Business response:

We are sorry to hear about your bad experience, Yuri. Unfortunately, you are not listed as a patient at our clinic, and it seems you mistakenly posted on our Google review page. It’s highly unusual to experience pain for a lengthy time after a filling and we’d be happy to help with that. We have emergency appointments if you are still uncomfortable. Please call us at (403) 342-1118. Alternatively, you can also visit our website and fill out the contact form https://www.parkland.dental/contact-parkland-mall-dental-red-deer/.

Wait times are extremely long. Why schedule for 1030 if you're wait times are going to be a half hour.

Business response:

Thank you for leaving us a review, Jaylene. We work hard to stay on time with our appointment schedule, but very infrequently there is an unavoidable delay. We apologize for the inconvenience we've caused you, and hope you will give us another chance to prove that most of the time, we're bang on time.

They were the worst. The one front desk lady was rude and stuck up. The dentist was terrible had a few fillings for cavities that werent causing me issues, then after the fillings month later still having pain issues. Stay the heck away from this place.

Business response:

Will, we're so sorry to hear you're unhappy with your experience at our clinic. Though we're known for our great patient care and attention to detail, we understand that our reputation is not something we should hide behind. We would welcome an opportunity to help with your situation. That said, we stand firm in our requirement that you must wear a mask to attend our clinic. If you remain unwilling to do so, then we can only wish you the very best.

My first few experiences with this dental clinic was okay. A lady in the front desk has a little bit of an attitude which to me is very un-inviting and unprofessional. Way too expensive and not very upfront about their actual quotes. They'll tell you one thing another day then say a higher price the next.

Business response:

Hi Justine. We have no record of you ever being at our clinic in Red Deer. Possibly you confused us with a similarly-named clinic in Edmonton. That said, we know it can be frustrating to deal with vague quotes and unwelcoming attitudes. Our quotes are based on the Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide (and our front office staff are lovely). We would be happy to welcome you to our clinic and show you a different experience. In the interim, if you would reconsider your rating, we would sure appreciate it!! Smiles...
